Affiliate disclosure
The short version. When a page on this site links to a vendor's sales page, the link is usually an affiliate link. If you buy through it, the marketplace (LaunchPadJV or JVZoo) pays us a commission. You pay the same price either way. The numbers on the page do not change based on whether a product pays us.
What we earn and from whom
OTO Ledger is published by Zoltan Juhasz through Agence Vesta / NetPartners Marketing, Quebec, Canada. We are registered as an affiliate on LaunchPadJV and JVZoo. Vendors on those marketplaces set a commission rate on each product in their funnel, typically between 30% and 75% of the sale price, and the marketplace pays that commission to us when a purchase is traced back to a link on this site. We show the commission rate for each funnel step on the product's ledger page, because it is part of the record.
We do not receive free products, review copies or payment from vendors for coverage. If that ever changes for a specific page, that page will say so at the top.
How links are marked
- Affiliate links point to
/go/…addresses on this site and then redirect to the marketplace. Every such link carriesrel="sponsored nofollow". - Where we have no affiliate approval for a product, the page still publishes with the same data and a plain, non-affiliate link to the sales page, or no link if the page is dead.
- Links to marketplaces' own pages, vendor profiles, forum threads and other sources are ordinary links.
What we do not do
- No bonus bundles, "buy through my link and get…" offers or cash-back schemes.
- No countdown timers, fake scarcity or "price goes up at midnight" copy.
- No paid placement, sponsored rankings or vendor-written text. We do not rate products and we do not use review or star-rating markup.
- No reproduction of vendor sales copy beyond short quoted fragments needed to audit a claim.
How the data stays independent
Prices, sales bands, conversion rates, refund rates, commission rates and page status are taken from the marketplaces' own listings and feeds and from our own captures of sales pages, each stamped with the date it was collected. The same fields are shown for every product, in the same order, with the same rules, whether we are approved as an affiliate for it or not. When a sales page returns an error or an offer has expired, the ledger says so. Our methodology page describes the collection process in detail.
Legal basis
This disclosure is made in line with the United States Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255) and with Canada's Competition Act provisions on representations to the public. Marketplace earnings vary; nothing on this site is a promise of income for buyers or for other affiliates.
