Whop Engine: the full OTO ladder, real prices and what 160 buyers actually paid
Funnel ladderBuyer economicsClaims auditVendor recordSearch landscapeFAQSources
The verdict in three sentences
Whop Engine is a $12 to $14 web app that uses AI to generate a membership offer, a short course, community posts and store graphics, then publishes them to your own Whop account through Whop's login. The real product is the ladder behind it: six upgrades that take the full-price path to $475, and after two days the average buyer had spent $82, not $14. If you already sell on Whop and want a faster way to draft a listing, the front end is cheap enough to try; if you are buying it because the page promises monthly income with no audience, the data below is what you should read first.
What it is, in our words
Whop is a real marketplace for paid communities and digital products, with its own affiliate program and a "Discover" directory that Whop staff review manually. Whop Engine sits on top of that. You connect your Whop account, pick a niche, and the app generates the pieces a membership needs: an offer name, a price tier, a welcome course, a few weeks of community posts and the logo and banner images. It then creates the store, product, course and checkout on Whop, submits the listing to Discover and switches on Whop's affiliate program for it. A "Content Autopilot" posts one piece of content a week to the community.
What it does not do is anything on the demand side. Discover approval is not guaranteed (the vendor's own FAQ says so), affiliates choose what they promote, and the money flows through Whop's payouts, not through the app. The product is an AI setup assistant for Whop. That is a fair thing to sell. The sales page sells something else: "Sell once, get paid every month" with "no audience, no course, no experience needed".
The funnel ladder
Prices are LaunchPadJV list prices on 17 Oct 2026. "Regular" is the price the marketplace shows as the non-launch price. "Realized" is revenue divided by sales as reported by the marketplace for this launch. Take rate = sales of the upgrade plus its downsell, divided by front-end buyers. Page status checked 17 Oct 2026.

Buyer economics
Marketplace listing after launch: 250+ sales band, 42.13% conversion, $15.35 EPC, $12,749 revenue (LaunchPadJV Top Offers table, 17 Oct 2026).
The ladder at launch prices costs $475.40 end to end; the marketplace's "regular" prices for the same products add up to $1,679. The average buyer spent $82.24, which is 7.1× the front-end price - the upgrades are where the money is.
Four in ten front-end buyers paid for the pricing-tier upgrade (OTO 1, "Profit"), which tells you the front end alone does not let you set up the membership tiers most Whop sellers would want. One in four paid again to remove the one-business cap. By the time a typical buyer reaches the Automation OTO they have been shown three upsells and two downsells; that is the sequence to expect if you buy. The marketplace's "regular" prices for the same ladder add up to more than $1,600. Nobody pays that; it exists to make the launch price look like a discount.
Claims audit
What we checked on the live sales page and the OTO pages on 17 October 2026:
- "Usually $97/month, today only $14 one time." LaunchPadJV lists the front end at $11.60 with a regular price of $197, not a monthly fee. The vendor's FAQ says pricing "will transition to a monthly subscription only after the special launch window", so the $97/month figure is a future plan, not a price anyone has paid.
- Coupon banner "MEGAOFF 50% off" runs across the top of the page while the page also says "today only". The realized front-end price was $13.62 on average, so the coupon is part of the normal flow, not a discount on top of it.
- "Real messages from Whop Engine users" marked "Verified". One of them, attributed to a James Wilson in Manchester, says his first product "was automatically created and listed on my Gumroad store". The same vendor launched GumRoad Engine on 16 September 2026 with the same 14-product funnel. The testimonial block appears to have been carried over.
- Beta testers "on camera" are listed by first name, surname and city with no links or handles. We could not verify any of them.
- Investor logos and "$1.6B valuation". These figures are about Whop the platform, cited to Fortune, Sacra and PYMNTS. They say nothing about Whop Engine.
- The vendor's own FAQ states that the case studies shown are Whop's own case studies, not Whop Engine users; that Discover approval is not guaranteed; and that affiliates choose what to promote. These are honest disclosures, placed at the bottom.
- Refund: 30-day money-back guarantee stated on the page. We have not tested it.
- Scarcity: countdown timer and "lock in the launch price before it rises" on a page that also runs a permanent coupon.
Vendor track record: Vijay Pratap Singh
Vijay Pratap Singh has 23 launches in the ledger between 24 Jul 2025 and 15 Oct 2026, with $144,423 in reported LaunchPadJV funnel revenue and 600+ JVZoo funnel sales. Median funnel size: 14 products. Average JVZoo refund rate across their funnels: 4.5%. Full vendor record.
Vijay Pratap Singh has shipped more than twenty launches on LaunchPadJV in thirteen months, roughly one every two weeks, and the last three follow one template: GumRoad Engine (16 September 2026, $15,788 funnel revenue, 30% conversion), TelegramEngine (30 September 2026, $9,653, 32%) and Whop Engine (15 October 2026, $13,158 after two days, 42%). Each has 14 products arranged as front end, Special, Profit, Scale, Automation, DFY, Traffic and Business Box, each with a downsell. The pattern matters for buyers: the "platform of the month" changes, the app architecture and the upgrade ladder do not. If you own GumRoad Engine or TelegramEngine, expect the same interface pointed at a different API.
